Stories and space connect people. It is in moments of empathetic connection that we can truly begin to build community and understanding between people. My quest as a designer is to facilitate these moments of empathy and understanding in an accessible and sustainable way.
I come from a long tradition of storytelling on stage and screen having studied theatrical scenic design at Colorado State University and film production at the University of Westminster,  London. After working professionally in New York City for designers such as Lex Liang and Emmy-award-winning Jason Ardizzone-West, my interests began to shift into design for permanent space, leading me to interior design.
The driving force behind my work is a connection to community and place, as well as a need to make the world more accessible for people of all walks of life (including design for trauma and neurodiversity). I am interested in working in commercial and public interior design, making our public spaces both equitable and accessible while telling the stories of our communities through design.
I am currently based in Seattle, Washington and studying for my Masters of Arts in Interior Design from Arts University Bournemouth online.
